As part of the National Numeracy Strategy and to raise money for a very worthy cause, ERGS will be getting involved with the NSPCC Number Day this Friday 2nd Feb 2018.
As part of the event pupils, teachers and parents will all be able to get involved with a ‘number’ of different activities including:
- Guess the Sweets in the Jar… 50p a go (correct or closest guess wins the jar and contents)
- Dingbats for Pupils & Parents… 50p a sheet (prize is a £20 cinema voucher)
- ERGS Number Hunt (Inter-House competition)
- Staff Room Bake Sales

In addition, it is planned that many junior classes will adopt a cross-curricular approach for the day exploring the use of number.
