On Wednesday, in line with the Model’s School Development and keeping the link between both schools active, Mrs McCordick and Miss Johnston led a Problem-Solving Numeracy session with P7 pupils at the Model. Working together in teams of 6, they had to solve 12 problems, some worded and some visual problems. Each time they solved a puzzle, they were given a piece of a jigsaw. The first group that had their jigsaw built and the problem on it solved, were the winners.
After they had completed that, they worked together on other Mathematical problems. The session proved to be very enjoyable. The teams worked together competitively, and fun was had by all.
