ERBC captains, Victoria Wilson and Sam Balcombe handed over a large number of toys and gifts to Nina Wright from Salvation Army, Enniskillen. These toys were collected by rowers, parents and Club supporters and will go towards local families in need this Christmas. Nina and her husband Simon said that there has been a 33% increase on requests for help this year compared with 2018. They will also be helping out Women’s Aid this year with the families they are working with. Nina thanked the Club for their contribution. This is the third year that the Club have been involved with the Appeal and they are happy to be able to help out Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul with the work they are doing in the local community. Tuesday, 17th December is the last day to drop toys and gifts, new and unwrapped off at the Salvation Army, Halls Lane. If you have an hour to spare to help them out today, Tuesday 17th between 11-3 to package up toys please call with them.
