School Council

A virtual meeting of the newly elected School Council (ERGS School Council 2021-22) took place on Thursday 4th November at 8pm via Google Meet with an impressive 31 pupils in attendance.

Mr Beddard welcomed the new members and outlined the purpose and organisation of the Council as well as sharing our Code of Conduct and Strapline of ‘Mutare Ad Melius’ which is Latin for Change for the Better. Election of officers took place before Mrs Kettyle launched the main project for this term which is the Operation Christmas Child Shoe Box Appeal.

Under ‘Any Other Business’, opportunity was given to capture pupil voice on issues raised by the pupils in each Tutor Group that they would like to see addressed by the Council during 2021-22.

The next meeting will take place in early December.
