On Tuesday 13th December the ERGS Senior Team travelled once again to Omagh, this time, to play their final match against Lumen Christi (Londonderry).
Never having met this school before, the team were unsure of what to expect. With their usual determination, the team worked flat out from the first to last whistle. The display of netball from both teams was super to watch. The Lumen team, however, were quite at home on the court and playing with each other. To this end, they were the dominant team and despite all our efforts, they came out as winners of the match.
Congratulations to them and we look forward to hearing how they do in the next round of the League.
I’d like to say a massive well done to all the Senior girls who have been playing on the team and indeed coming out to practice every week. The commitment you have all shown has been excellent and the hard work you have put in has paid off as the standard of Netball has been raised well and truly within the squad.
