Finally after a few months of competition, we arrived at week 6 of the Tri Equestrian league.
Unfortunately, due to Covid and exams, our team was unable to jump in this final week.
However… fresh off the back of her Autumn league wins, Rianna Mulligan and her horse Highlandy Rebel we’re back in action for us. And some action that was!
Rianna and Rebel jumped early in the 85cm class setting a super fast time of 25.01 putting her into an early lead. A very high standard set for all the remaining riders in the competition ( 48 in total). There were several riders who came close, giving Rianna a few heart-stopping moments. Thankfully, her time proved quick enough for her to come first and so win the class.
Later on, Rianna and Rebel went out in the 1M class. Once again, The duo were one of the first to jump, posting a slightly faster time than the previous class, making it a very hard time to beat Despite the remaining riders doing their utmost to chase, thrr eth couldn’t knock Rianna off top spot.
Win number two for a delighted Rianna.
Congratulations to Rianna and Rebel on this excellent achievement.
Thanks to Mr Mulligan for his transport, support and picture-taking (I was unable to attend this week). A super way to end the Tri-League.
Well done to everyone who has competed in this league over the last few months, I hope you enjoyed your experience and will be back next year .
