Congratulations to a number of ERGS junior pupils who recently competed, representing Enniskillen Running Club, in the Ulster cross country championships and did very well.
The even age groups were in Rostrevor on 28th October. Yr8 Patrick Williams came 12th out of a huge field and has qualified for the All Ireland Championships to be held in Dublin in a few weeks time. Yr9 Sophia Williams came 15th, again out of a huge field of runners.
At the uneven on Sunday in Stranolar, Sophia just missed out on an All Ireland place, coming 13th and running out of her age group at this competition – running in Under 15’s. Yr9 Scarlett Keys also competed in the U15s and came high up in a very large and competitive field.
