As we head into the Bank Holiday weekend I write to give you an update on our position in relation to the Coronavirus situation.
As a school we are following the advice provided by the Public Health Agency as seen below. Accordingly, we have taken steps to remind our school community of the importance of handwashing and other hygienic precautions.

The Department of Education and Education Authority’ s current advice is that schools should remain open: however, our staff are preparing resources, including on line materials, to ensure continuity of learning for our pupils in the event of a forced school closure. Your son/daughter’s teachers will outline the plans for their subject with them.
You will also be aware that various sporting organisations have issued directives about not playing their sports which we are also taking account of.
We will keep you updated in this evolving situation.
If you have any queries, please contact me or a member of the SLT at school
