This afternoon, both Annabelle and Harry McKenzie in years 10 and 11 proudly represented Ulster at the Tailteann Inter Provincial Athletics Finals in Dublin.
Annabelle had a tough 1500m Steeple Chase but demonstrated admirable determination to the end. Although she did not take a podium spot she was still the first Ulster athlete home.
It was a great day at the office for Harry who ran a superb 3000m finishing in Gold medal position and now qualifies to represent Ireland on the 20th July in the SIAB International Track & Field Championships to be held in Wales.
Congratulations also to Devenish student Oliver Polak who competed in the Discus and Shot competitions, placing an impressive 5th and 6th respectively.
