Year 10 Code Club students enjoyed a fantastic trip to Strathearn Grammar School in Belfast today to participate in a web design competition with other schools. The students had to recreate and pitch a professional three page website promoting Climate Action. The judges from Allstate were very impressed with the website and teamwork shown. Unfortunately, we didn’t win on this occasion. The students also received a certificate of competence in HTML accredited by Stranmillis and St Mary’s Teaching Colleges in Belfast. Mr Ian Simons (Head of Computer Science at Stranmillis) handed out the certificates. A fantastic day was enjoyed by all.
