    Translink Brand a Bus Competition

    By Alison Stronge | Latest News | Comments are Closed | 12 June, 2025 | 1

Our Brand a Bus competition is calling on young artists across Northern Ireland to help us visualise a cleaner, greener future.
If your child has ever imagined their artistic creation on a bus, now’s their opportunity to bring it to life! We’re looking for creative young minds to show us how public transport could contribute to a net zero future for our region, with a selection of winning artworks showcased on one of our double-decker buses and travelling across Northern Ireland!

What is Brand a Bus about?
We’re inviting children and young people to design artwork that shows what a sustainable, climate-friendly future looks like.

The winning designs will be featured on a fully wrapped Ulsterbus, revealed at a special event at Belfast Grand Central Station before touring across the province. And if that wasn’t enough, winners will be awarded a £200 art pack to keep the creativity flowing!

    To get you started, think

How can buses and trains help make Northern Ireland greener?

Think about how public transport can reduce pollution and help our planet

What can we all do to help tackle climate change?

Maybe you want to draw how we can reduce waste, use less plastic, or take action to help nature.

What does a healthy planet look like to you?

Show us your green dream! Maybe it’s a world full of trees, clean rivers, and happy animals.

    How to Enter

    1.  Create Your Artwork: Get creative and use any materials you like – pencils, paint, markers, or even digital tools. It’s your vision, your way.

    2.  Include Your Details: Don’t forget to include your name along with the Childs name and age, We want to make sure we know who the talented artist is behind the creation.

    3.       Scan Your Masterpiece: Once your art is ready, take a clear photo or scan it.

    4.       Send Your Creation

You can send your entry via email to ulink@translink.co.uk or via WhatsApp to 07967582908
