Tuesday 6th February saw the U18 & U14 rugby teams travel to Portadown RFC for the fourth round of Ulster Rugby Qualifying 7s blitzes.
The U14s played four matches
Game 1 – Beat Down HS 5-0
Game 2 – Beat Assumtption 4-0
Game 3 – Beat Armagh 4-0
Game 4 – Beat Friends of Lisburn 3-0.
The U14s had two teams and their games went as follows:-

ERGS U18 Ulster Eastern Regional Blitz
Portadown – 6th February
The U18 girls squad had their last outing at the Eastern location this time to get a taste of the other schools involved before they embark on the defence of their Ulster Schools’ Cup @ Kingspan Stadium on Wednesday 20th March.
The very strong squad played only 4 matches in Portadown.
Game 1 – They defeated Belfast HS 5-0 with trys from: Anna Wilson 2, Leah Irwin 1, Madeline Hamill 1 & Ellen Graham 1
Game 2 -They beat a strong Assumption team 4-0. Trys from: Alex Boyd 1, Freya Brennan 2 & Hannah Dundas 1
Game 3 – They beat last years runners up Royal School Armagh 5-0: Anna Wilson 2, Leah Irwin 1, Amy Meeke 1 & Freya Brennan 1
Game 4 – Lastly they defeated a strong Friends team 3-0: Leah Irwin 1, Madeline Hamill 1 & Freya Brennan 1
It was a good run out for the girls but it’s Qualifier day next up on Tuesday 5th March @ Mid Ulster Sports Arena, Cookstown with lots to work on before then.
