Some pupils from Years 8 and 9 pupils took part in the UK Junior Mathematical Challenge on Wednesday 26th April. This was really challenging, but it gave them the opportunity to apply their mathematical skills to problem-style questions. Congratulations to all who took part.

Silver Certificates were awarded to the following pupils:
Andrew Johnston, Sally Huang, Eimear Hutchinson, Paddy Huang, Oliver Creighton-Clarke and Ross Campbell.
Gold Certificates were awarded to the following pupils:
Harvey Simmons, Teddy Beeson, Aiden Chen, Lee Wiggins and Lauren Gavin.
Harvey Simmons also achieved Best in Year 8, and Aiden Chen and Lee Wiggins achieved Best in School.
On the back of their great results, Harvey Simmons, Lee Wiggins and Aiden Chen have been invited to take part in the Kangaroo Challenge in June. We await the results from this.
