On Tuesday 3rd October 2023, some of our Year 14 pupils took part in the UKMT Senior Mathematical Challenge. This challenge encourages mathematical reasoning, precision of thought, and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems.
The following pupils achieved Silver certificates, which was fantastic: Isaac Hutchinson (who was also best in school), Finn Maguire, Rory Keogh and Amos Jonston.
The following pupils achieved Bronze certificates, which was also great: Bethany England, Emma Little and Ethan Larner.
Lisa Downey, Elizabeth Carey, Katherine Armstrong, Olivia Beavis and Cameron Smith all achieved certificates of participation.
Well done to all pupils who took part, as this consisted of incredibly challenging questions. They should all be very proud.
