For some of our rugby players it has been a busy Easter with several, across the age ranges, involved in Representative Games.
Yr13 Leah Irwin – Took part in the Ireland U18 Six Nations festival over the Easter break. Leah was away wit the Ireland U18 Squad for 10 days and played in matches against Italy, Wales and Scotland. Leah also captained the team against Italy and scored a try.
Yr12 Jake Irwin – Played for Ulster U18 Schools v Munster away in Limerick on Wednesday 27th March. Jake was on the bench but played the full second half.
Yr13 Toby Newman – Played for Ulster U19 v Connacht at Mullaghmeen on Friday 5th April. Like Jake, he was on the bench but played second half and did very well.
Yr 10s Caolon Mclernan, Charlie Courtney, Kristan Fee and Yr11 Alfie Lucy – All four boys took part in the final Ulster Regional Development blitz representing the Southern Region. All boys played very well. A decision will be made soon on whether they have been selected for the Summer U17 training squad. Nathan Keown also involved but did not play blitz.
Congratulations to all on some superb achievements and we look forward to seeing how they all progress in the future.
