Our U14 girls did us all proud on Thursday afternoon 20th March, as many of them had their first taste of competitive finals rugby.
In their first game they faced Royal School Armagh, narrowly losing 2-0 but playing some great rugby.
As they grew in confidence they faced Ballymena in game two and drew this game 3-3 with tries from Charlotte Gould (2) and Amber Ferguson.
The final group game was against St Columbas with the girls putting forward their best performance winning 3-0. Tries from Lexi McElwaine (2) and Charlotte Gould
The girls progressed to the quarter final against Royal & Prior and despite the game being very evenly contested, they came away on the wrong side of a 4-2 loss. Ruby Donald and Charlotte Gould once again got the scores.
A hugely successful day and a brilliant experience for the girls who will no doubt continue to improve and achieve more success in the years to come!!
