The University of Aberdeen’s International Women’s Day Celebrations will run from Monday 8 – Saturday 13 March 2021 with all events will being held online and will adopt the official campaign theme #ChooseToChallenge – choose to challenge and call out gender bias, discrimination and stereotypes. As part of our International Women’s Day Celebrations we will hold a speed mentoring day for young people aged 15 – 18 years old on Wednesday 11 March, from 1pm – 2.30pm. Mentors will cover topics that focus on; Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Science, Equality & Diversity and Wellbeing.

We will also welcome keynote speakers Anna Whitehouse of the platform ‘Mother Pukka’ and Jeffery Tobias Halter, corporate gender strategist and TEDx speaker, as well as hosting a comedy evening Scottish comedian Janey Godley.
