Today we had the privilege of welcoming Kate Doherty into school to present a cheque on behalf of our Year 14s following their December fundraiser.
A fantastic £1,365 was raised, with all proceeds going to Operation Rescue. Kate expressed her sincere thanks and explained that funds will be used to support food provision, with the majority going towards teff flour, which is used to make injera, a traditional Ethiopian staple food.
Our Head Boy, Jake, and Head Girl, Anna, made the cheque presentation and spoke to students about the real impact of their efforts, congratulating them on their commitment, generosity and teamwork.
A truly worthwhile cause and a brilliant example of our students making a positive difference beyond the school community.
