Swim Ulster Primary Schools Cup and Championship was held at the Aurora Aquatic & Leisure Complex, Bangor on Saturday 29th November 2025. Jakub Mikiewicz Lumayad and April Huang, both Year 8, proudly represented ERGS in their first outing in school colours. Jakub Mikiewicz Lumayad (Year 8) clocked a 3 second PB in his 50m Backstroke event, claiming a silver medal, followed by a 4 second PB in 50m Freestyle, securing a bronze medal in his age group. Jakub also qualified for the Irish Minor School Championship in Dublin for both events. April Huang (Year 8) secured new PBs in the 50m Butterfly and 50m Freestyle, also successfully qualifying for the Irish Minor School Championship in both events.
