Congratulations to the Year 12 pupils selected to attend the Creative Writing workshop which we are hosting as part of this year’s Fermanagh Live Arts Festival on the afternoon of Friday October 7th.
The workshop will be led by writer, Priscilla Morris, who studied at Cambridge University and the University of East Anglia, where she gained her PhD with Distinction in Creative Writing. Priscilla recently published her debut novel, Black Butterflies, which tells the story of the siege of Sarajevo and was Indie Fiction Book of the Month for May 2022. Priscilla has taught creative writing at the U.E.A., Kingston University and City Lit and currently lectures and tutors Creative Writing at University College Dublin (UCD).
Funding has been granted from Fermanagh and Omagh District Council through the Good Relations Schools Programme and we have invited pupils from St Michael’s College, Mount Lourdes Grammar School and Erne Integrated College to share this experience with us.
We’re really looking forward to all the creative energies coming together!
