On the 23rd February Year 14 Technology & Design pupils volunteered there time as mentors at Lisbellaw Primary School for the Sentinus Robotics Roadshow. Primary 6 and 7 pupils had the opportunity to engage in the programming and control of robotic vehicles within the context of space exploration. The pupils learnt to write and download their own programmes and to the robotic vehicles to perform tasks at the end of the session. The event aimed to enhance the understanding of robotics and give pupils a practical opportunity to develop their programming skills and enhance ICT skills. The school commented on the girls professionalism and how well they interacted with all the children. Well done!!
