Yr14 – UCAS 18th June 6pm Reply Deadline is this Thursday…

If your applicants received decisions from all of their choices on or before 4 June 2020, they need to reply to any offers by this Thursday, 18 June 2020 (except if they’re using Extra to find a place).

With COVID-19 disrupting lots of plans, we know this decision may be more difficult for your students than expected. Over the coming days, we’ll be doing everything we can to help them make the right decision for them, including:

• Working with Universities UK to provide top tips and support students’ decision-making.
  We’ve emailed all applicants with an 18 June deadline, but in case they’ve missed it, here’s a copy for you to share.
• Hosting live Q&As with the experts to answer any final questions.
  If your students are still unsure, encourage them to join us live on Facebook at 11:00 on Thursday 18 June, and follow us online for the latest opportunities.
• Sending helpful reminders as the deadline fast approaches.
  By email, text, and across social – covering all basis and making sure your students don’t miss the deadline.

Remember – if applicants do not reply by 18:00 on 18 June, their offers will be automatically declined.

Our advice is a decision is better than no decision. Many of the reasons they chose to go to university or college are still the same and will remain long after COVID-19. With new guidelines and advice, universities and colleges are putting plans in place to welcome students starting their studies this autumn.
