Speakers for Schools NI has secured funding from the Department for the Economy to host a series of virtual STEM Career Insight Days for up to 1,000 female students, aged 14-18 from post-primary schools across the province this term.
They have developed their ‘21st Century Girls’ programme to inspire the next generation of female scientists, technologists, engineers and innovators!
Working with a diverse range of employers from entrepreneurs, small businesses to large corporates, these insight days will provide female students with an opportunity to connect with employers and the world of work and open their minds to sectors and job roles that perhaps they may not have considered. Host employers include PwC, Allstate, CAFRE, NIE Networks, NI Water, Graham and NI Screen to name but a few.
