Three of our students were recently awarded prizes in the Allingham Festival School’s Flash Fiction Competition
Kate McGarry was awarded 3rd place at Under 13 for her piece CRIME SCENE, with Harry Rees taking 2nd place at Under 15 with THE NEGOTIATOR. Emma Elliott came 1st with her short story GREEN (JAMES).
The prizes were awarded at a ceremony on Saturday 11th November in Abbey Arts Centre, Ballyshannon. Both Kate and Harry read extracts from their winning pieces to the audience of fellow prize winners and their families.
