Congratulations to Sophia Williams (Yr 10C) and Patrick Williams (Yr 9C) who both represented Ulster at the recent All Ireland Uneven Cross Country Championships at Navan racecourse. Both had come within the Top 12 in Ulster to gain their place on the Ulster Team for the Championships. In tough conditions in Navan at the weekend, Patrick climbed from 12th place to 5th place in Ulster earning an inter-provincial medal and being placed in top 25 in All-Ireland and Sophia, with a fall at the first corner, picked herself up and ran on to end up in the Top 50 in All Ireland bringing her team to a high ranking second in Ulster.
Well done to them both.
