On Friday 6th March the Enniskillen Royal GS Brass Band had the pleasure of performing as part of the Brass in Concert Festival weekend in association with the Brass Band League of NI. The event was hosted at the Valley Hotel, Fivemiletown and featured five other local non-competing bands as well as our school band. Enniskillen Royal Brass Band was very well received by the audience and was performed three pieces, namely Prismatic Light, a march Independentia and Essence of Brass. Mr Stephen Magee is the band’s Musical Director and the principal cornetist this year is Ellen Bloomfield. The festival continues on Saturday 7th March with a range of BBL NI Entertainment competitions running throughout the day at the Valley Hotel, with Junior and Intermediate sections and culminating in the Championship section in the early evening. Very well done to our pupils who represented their school so well through a musical and uplifting performance.
