    By Enniskillen Royal | Latest News | Comments are Closed | 15 May, 2020 | 0

This week’s entries to the Celebration Gallery demonstrate some of the fantastic work and independent learning being done by ERGS pupils as they remain in lockdown but keen to keep their learning going. Don’t worry if your work isn’t included this week as teachers have been sending through all kinds of material that we will keep uploading over the coming days and weeks.

On a similar theme,  some excellent English work produced by Chloe Robinson and Emma Fawcett in 8A.  The task required pupils to explain how the character Pew is presented in the novel ‘Treasure Island’.  The reason why both of these students’ work is excellent is because they have successfully explained the effect of some of the techniques used by the author – Mr McMahon

Year 8, Rebecca-Jane Woods has been very busy showcasing her high skill level by creating homemade honeycomb and chocolate brownies, served with vanilla ice-cream and toffee sauce. A fantastic demonstration of hard work and enthusiasm shown. Well done Rebecca-Jane and keep up the terrific – Mrs Wynne

Year 9 Geography pupils Mateusz, Hugo McChesney, Ewan Mackie and  Sophie Moore have recently submitted their research and essays on Mexico to USA Migration, Some really detailed and thorough work completed showing a clear understanding of push and pull factors as well as forming their own reasoned and justified conclusions.- Mr Mason

Yr14 Performing Arts –  The month of May for Mrs Rees  and her A Level students usually means LOCKDOWN IN SCHOOL  Living , breathing and eating questionable amounts of snacks whilst rehearsing together for the Unit 2 exam which will now not happen. So to mark the end of their creative contribution to Drama and Performing Arts Mrs Rees ( big thanks to Molly Rees for editing it!) has put together a short video to celebrate the energy and talent of a very special group of young people during their last two years of A Level Performing Arts at ERGS.
