Application Form 2022 – Horizons
The two-year programme will involve participants meeting up every Thursday, 7pm – 9pm, at Lisnaskea Youth Centre.
The meeting will focus on leadership and the development of leadership, through group work, team building and qualifications.
The outcome will be to encourage young people to play a more active role within their community, youth club or sports club.
In the first year over the summer period, young people will have a 14 day residential travelling across the Republic of Ireland and taking part in several outdoor activities.
In the second year over the summer period of the programme young people will travel to Boston to visit other youth groups and will also have an opportunity to take part in recreational activities.
Young people will receive support with passports and renewal of passports for international travel. They will receive a Horizons hoody, t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms.
During their time on the programme each member will receive an iPad to document their experience and if they stay the two years, they will get to keep the iPad.
This programme is completely free – Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis with a reserve list in place.
