On Friday 31st March, Eimear Hutchinson flew to London to represent Ireland at the U12 PSI’s in Oundle School, Peterborough. The team competition was held over two days, where Eimear competed against Wales, Scotland, England A, England B, Jersey and Guernsey. The individual competition was held on Day 3, where Eimear had a spectacular run to the QF, beating girls from Jersey, Guernsey, Scotland and two girls from England, before being beaten by the top English girl and eventual winner. Eimear was playing in her first international tournament, so finishing with a “Top 8” place in the British Isles was a fantastic achievement!
She is now looking forward to finishing the season by representing Ulster at U13 level in the Interprovincials on the 16th April.
