Glorious Fermanagh conditions greeted our visitors from Limavady today for the U13 Plate Final. Capt D Fisher won the toss & elected to field. Some good line & length bowling from the opening bowling pair of D Fisher & S Little was dealt with well by the Limavady openers. Despite a hit wicket & runout ERGS were unable to take any more wickets & Limavady ended 121 for 2 off the allocated 20 overs.
L Hall & H Breen opened the batting with an average run rate of just over 6 an over. Some poor shot selections coupled with a potent Limavady bowling attack saw wickets tumble early on. J McCusker top scored with a stubborn 4 hard earned singles. ERGS despite showing some resistance were eventually all out for 35 off 16.2 overs.
