On Monday 15th May, Year 14 enjoyed a fun filled morning on the CC Site before embarking on their study leave and examination period. In a welcome interlude from their serious study they rediscovered their inner child and spent a few hours entertaining themselves on two obstacle course-style bouncy castles as well as thoroughly soaking each other and a few unfortunate staff with an intense water pistol shoot out! Refreshments were on hand from Kitty’s Kitchen and a local ice-cream van before they went off to begin a busy period taking their A2 examinations. Then, last Thursday we welcomed back a relaxed Year 14 to take our official leave of the Class of 2023. Miss Armstrong and Mrs Johnston-Cobain (Head of Year 14) paid tribute to their superb contribution to our school during their time with us and their most positive impact during their journey despite the challenges of the pandemic. Thanks to the canteen staff on CC who provided a lovely buffet meal for the pupils and staff in attendance. We wish the class of 2023 every happiness and success in their bright future.
