    BTO Bird Camp

    By Alison Stronge | Latest News | Comments are Closed | 17 April, 2024 | 0

My name is Jemma Davies and I’m the Engagement Coordinator for the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) in Northern Ireland.

This May, the BTO Youth team will be hosting a FREE Bird Camp for those who are 11-17 years old. The Camp will give those involved the opportunity to meet a group of like-minded young people with an interest in nature, birds and science, and meet a range of staff and volunteers from the BTO and our partners. Our camp programme includes lots of different activities, focusing (of course!) on birds, but also on art, mindfulness, and answering scientific questions.

Due to demand we have extended the application window for our camp until Sunday 28th April, and we would hugely appreciate your support in spreading the word to as many young people as possible.

    Dates: 24th – 26th May

    Location: Gortin

For further information please follow this link, and the application form can be found here.

    With thanks,

    Jemma
