On Saturday 8th June a number of our Senior Pipers attended a Commemorative Community Event held at St Angelo Airport, Enniskillen, to mark the 80th Anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy, France. As well as music being provided by the Royal Irish Regiment and The Royal Dragoon Guards, a massed pipe band was formed to perform at the airfield. Our pupils, led out by Pipe Major Isaac Hutchinson, represented school admirably and were honoured to be part of this significant commemoration. Thank you to Mr Cecil Jones for his work along with the Music Department in co-ordinating this opportunity for our pupils at such a special community event.
