Happy World Book Day 2025!

Cooper Crescent site was ablaze with colourful cakes and costumes to celebrate World Book Day and a great day’s fun was had by all! We enjoyed competitions such as dressing up as a book character, Booky Bake-Off, and book emoji Quiz. A huge thank you to all the students who participated and all the parents who helped them. We raised £180 to buy new library books so massive thanks to all!

The judging of the cakes and costumes was an extremely difficult job with such talent and imagination on display but the judges announced the following as prize-winners:

Booky Bake Off winners:

1^st – Matilda Book Cake by Emilija Lauze 8D

Joint 2^nd Hedwig cake by Ellie Calderwood 8b

Paddington by Joanna Moore 9D

3^rd Willy Wonka cake by Harvey Grayden 8A

Joint 4^th: Alice Down the Rabbit Hole by Lucy Roberts

Alice Cupcakes by Katie McElwrath 8A.

Dress as a book character winners were:

2^nd Obi Wan Kenobi from the Star Wars books by Jenson Waldie 10E
