As the Danske Bank Girls’ Schools’ Cup Final approaches on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Kingspan Stadium, the ERGS community is filled with excitement. Our Under 18 girls’ rugby team is set to defend their title, with the match against St. Louis’ Grammar School, Ballymena kicking off at 12 noon.
Reflecting on our journey, last year’s final was a testament to our team’s dedication and skill. In March 2024, our senior girls clinched the Ulster Schools’ Championship for the second consecutive year, delivering a commanding victory over Assumption Grammar School at Kingspan Stadium. This back-to-back triumph not only showcased our players’ skill and determination, but also solidified ERGS’s reputation in girls’ rugby.
As we step onto the pitch once again, we do so with confidence, pride, and the unwavering support of our school community. No matter the outcome, this final is a celebration of hard work, passion, and the bright future of girls’ rugby at ERGS.
