On Tuesday 1st April, four of our senior pupils will have the pleasure and privilege of performing at the Millennium Forum for the Annual Spring Fest Concert for the Western Region. This is one of the highlights of the year for the orchestra in addition to their Christmas concerts. Solenn Beeson (Violin), James Mongan (Violin) and Poppy Ramsey (Viola) all play in the Strings section and Anna Little plays Trumpet in the Brass Section. The pupils will be performing music from ‘Lord of the Dance’ as well as the film theme ‘The Incredibles’. The pupils are dedicated musicians who often travel on Saturdays for rehearsals and Mr Magee, our Brass Tutor also co-ordinates and leads the Brass section of the orchestra, once again demonstrating the varying roles and opportunities for musicians and tutors.
