Our Year 11 and 12 German exchange students enjoyed their first full day in Germany.
Today we had a warm welcome at school from the principal, Frau Heike Bug, and a welcome gift bag from Brackwede Council. We had a tour of the school and then took the tram into Bielefeld, quick stop for ice cream before our welcome in the city hall with the city mayor. Afternoon spent on Brackweder Main Street asking locals for help with the town trail quiz!
All of us still tired today after losing a night’s sleep on Wednesday night, but all in great form and enjoying the sunshine.
