As part of the SistersIN project, Amelie Curry (Year 13) organised and delivered a pre-Christmas cake sale on the Junior Site, raising an impressive £271.30 for her chosen charity, Action for Children.
The cake sale was well supported and created a positive, festive atmosphere within the school community. Amelie showed excellent organisation and commitment in planning and running the event, demonstrating the confidence and initiative encouraged through the SistersIN programme.
Amelie would like to extend sincere thanks to Scott’s Bakery for their very kind donation of buns, which helped make the fundraiser such a success. Thanks are also extended to Ciara Hutchinson, who supported Amelie with her project on the day.
