Last Wednesday, just before the half-term break, our Year 8 pupils took part in an engaging Numeracy Afternoon. The session involved a series of puzzles and a quiz, challenging pupils to apply their mathematical knowledge and understanding in creative and collaborative ways. Working in teams, pupils demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills as they decoded clues and tackled a range of numerical challenges. There was plenty of healthy competition throughout the afternoon, with House Points and prizes up for grabs. Congratulations to Benaughlin, who finished in first place, followed closely by Trien. Belmore and Cuilcagh also put in strong performances. The event concluded with some well-earned juice and shortbread. Well done to all involved!
