Congratulations to Uma De Naipir (Year 12 pupil) who came home with a Winner’s trophy from the QUB Literific Debating Final which was held in The Senate Chamber at Stormont. Uma proposed the motion: This House believes Europe relies too heavily on the USA for security. Uma held a mature confidence amid the impressive surroundings of the chamber and delivered her perfectly worded speech with clarity and conviction while also responding effectively to Points of Information. She was also among the students to get an impromptu chat with the Education Minister on the steps of Stormont. A great day’s work Uma!
