On Saturday 6th March, Victoria Benson (Year 12) attended a ceremony at Hillsborough Castle where she was formally presented as the Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet for Fermanagh for 2026–2027.
Cadet Corporal Benson, a member of 72 (Fermanagh) Squadron RAF Air Cadets, will accompany The Lord Lieutenant of County Fermanagh, Viscount Brookeborough, over the coming 12 months. In this prestigious role, she will assist at Royal Visits, parades and a range of civic, military and community events across the county.
The appointment of Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet is one of the highest honours within the Cadet Forces and recognises outstanding commitment, leadership and service. This year promises to be a truly memorable and enriching experience for Victoria.
