A huge well done to Emily Magee (Year 13) who successfully carried out her SistersIN leadership project today, organising and hosting a fantastic primary school netball tournament on our Algeo Drive campus.
Emily planned and delivered the entire event – a significant undertaking which she executed brilliantly. With the support of Mrs McIntosh from the PE Department, the gym hall was transformed into a lively venue for a morning of energetic matches, healthy competition and great fun for the visiting primary school pupils.
The standard of netball on display was excellent and it was wonderful to see so many young players enjoying the opportunity to compete and represent their schools. The atmosphere throughout the tournament was fantastic, with plenty of encouragement from teammates and supporters alike.
A special word of thanks to the Enniskillen Rotary Club, whose generous sponsorship provided snacks for the players as well as the medals and trophies presented at the end of the competition.
Events like this capture exactly what the SistersIN programme is all about – developing leadership, confidence and initiative in young women while making a positive impact in the wider community.
