An outstanding achievement and a fantastic set of races! Both the boys and girls pushed their opponents, the Norwegians and Nottinghamshire respectively, right to the finish line but in the end just ran out of water. Well done to them, Mr Holland and all the coaches who made this amazing week at Henley possible. Thank you to all the parents who made the journey to Henley to cheer the kids on and finally thank you to everyone for your messages of support over the last week.

It is back to training at the Boathouse for the Henley Rowers on Saturday morning with the Irish Rowing Championships only 7 days away. Training has been going really well for the rowers who have stayed at home under the supervision of Assistant coach Barney Rix, Jane Willis and all the other coaching staff. Many thanks to them for holding the fort while Derek has been away.
