A group of 43 athletes attended the event at the University Limerick Sports Arena, where they competed against 100s of clubs from all over Ireland. Debating Society saw the last debate of 2019 take place on the 19th December, with the house debating the very festive motion of: “This house believes that Christmas has become too commercialised and has lost all religious meaning.” Proposing the motion were Dylan Thompson and Tomás Roma, with James and Adrianna Hurst opposing the motion.Read more
