The Code Club In ERGs has proven to be highly engaging, with students in year 10 receiving a Certificate of Achievement from Ulster University, along with receiving both their Ulster Scholar Pin as well as Mr Butler’s very own Code Club Blazer Pin.
Students have completed multiple challenges with Microbits, coded TELLO drones and even written websites using HTML code. They plan to move onto Game Development in January.
This club has given students the opportunity to develop key problem solving and maths skills, using angle rules and variables to develop software.
