ERGS U14s vs Lurgan Junior High

The under 14 football team travelled to Lurgan Junior High School on Friday to play in round 2 of the NI Schools Cup. ERGS started the game nervously conceding a penalty within two minutes. Ross Thompson made a fantastic stop to keep the game scoreless. ERGS defended excellently in the first half going into the break 0-0. In the second half Lurgan proved to be too strong eventually running out 3-0 winners.

Thanks to Lurgan for the game and all pupils are to be commended for their behaviour and sportsmanship.
