Congratulations to the class of 2017 and to their teachers and parents who supported them on their very strong A Level results.
93% of the grades were at A*-C and seventeen pupils have three A Grades or better.
Top achievers are Lucy Mills who achieved three A* grades, Lydia Kerr and Miriam Ni Chobhthaigh who both achieved two A* grades and 1 A and Tyrone Madigan who achieved two A* grades, 1 A and 1 B.
We wish all our Year 14 pupils every success as they head off to a diverse range of university pathways on the strength of their very good performance at A level across a range of twenty-seven subjects.
This year’s destinations include Computer Science, Dentistry and Theology with History at Queens, Geology and Petroleum Geology at Aberdeen, History at Newcastle, Civil Engineering at Sheffield, Biomedical Science and French and Business at Edinburgh, Sports and Exercise at Durham, Physics at King’s College, London and Music at the Conservatoire in Cardiff.
