Housing Executive Bee Hives Click above for more information about this nice wee simple drawing competition, to help us brand our honey! 🐝😊 CLOSE 20 MAY – WORLD BEE DAY Brought to you by the Housing Executive, a chance for your school to WIN a visit from Robert the HQ Beekeeper. Robert will bring a hive complete with worker bees and queen inside. The winning class will be able to see the bees up close and learn all about their importance in our ecosystem. There are two secret beehives in Belfast City… As you walk around the City Hall garden, or go to the Christmas Market, or just shopping with your friends or family – two very special hives sit in the sky. Imagine, beehives, homes for our bees on top of Housing Executive, HQ, Belfast. Up on the roof these secret bees are buzzing! These busy city bees have a massive task each year – to make city honey for charity. Look out for them downtown, collecting pollen for their honey.
