We were delighted that Aly and Terry Finlay’s longstanding and distinguished service to the promotion of both girls’ and boy’s rugby in Enniskillen Royal Grammar School and in our legacy schools, of the Collegiate Grammar and Portora Royal was recently recognised in their award of a presentation of a specially commissioned medal by the IRFU, in this their 150th anniversary year. These medals which were presented by the IRFU President, Declan Madden at a special ceremony on the Aviva Stadium on 27th April 2025 recognised, in the words of the citation, Aly and Terry’s ‘outstanding contribution to Irish Rugby as a testament to their commitment to the game’
A very well-deserved award.
