Enniskillen Royal Grammar School are back in the NI Netball League for the first time since 2018. Today our Inter girls played St Fanchea’s College at the Lakeland forum. The girls played superbly in the fast-paced game. With a mix of Year 11 and Year 12 players, it was obvious that all their training sessions together as a senior squad have helped as there was lovely fluidity on the court. Fantastic shooting by Amanda Farrell ensured that the ERGS girls made their mark. They led the whole way through the game, despite a strong attack by St Fanchea’s in the 3rd quarter where they pulled back to within 5 points. At the final whistle however, it was a triumphant ERGS team who came away from the game with a win of 23 points to 17.
Well done to the squad of Amanda Farrell, Gemma Elliott, Katherine Armstrong, Anna Wilson, Leah Irwin, Olivia Beavis, Natasha McKeown, Jane Black, Amara Brady, Jess Ferguson, Eloise Renwick, Annabel Morrison and Aimee Ross.
